The RFID-RC522 module is a widely used 13.56MHz RFID reader based on the NXP MFRC522 chip, compatible with MIFARE 1K and 4K cards and tags. It communicates via SPI, I2C, or UART, making it highly flexible for use with Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi.
